Great hole in the wall, especially if you like Salvadoran/ Central American food. Fresh tortillas, casamiento/Gallopinto which is black beans 'married' or mixed with rice. OMG good. Breakfast ALL day. Chorizo and scrambled eggs with a side of black bean purée and a perfectly cooked maduro(sweet plantain) w soft cheese and cream. The kinda simple dish you might get if you had a Central American Grandma or were dating a girl of CA descent. Pupusas which is a tortilla stuffed with, well different things; very typical Salvadoran. Different appetizers, empanadas/turnovers/stuffed tamale like delights. Mexican food. Chicken & Beef prepared, grilled, stewed, fajita style, etc. Soups from chicken "7-Mares"/7 Seas. Chile Rellenos or stuffed large green chile.
I got to be honest with you. If you like this Central American type food occasionally or on the regular, this is the go to place in the area. I've never been disappointed with the food. The staff is incredibly friendly.
So my previous review is probably very accurate because we walked in about 630p Sun and it was a full house. It took them about 30 seconds to seat us and it took them about two minutes to take our order for drinks and food. Well received and Latin music playing in the background with a medium volume chatter. Oh, and our hot food came in like 10 minutes.
Actual musicians and performers was earlier in the day. I've seen it before on a Friday night, pretty good! -

I really love this place as they have great papusas. I had the revuelta and camaron. They were both excellent but the revuelta was pretty one point. Love that you get the bucket of cabbage slaw. Also had the plantains, crema, avocado, and black beans. You can tell the place is pretty legit because not only is the food good but all the clientele is Salvadorian. :) I want to try the platos mariscos next time I go.

The breakfast is bomb and great price. I would give it 1 less star (but I wont) for hospitality. The waitresses dang smile and please come back to offer us more coffee or see if we need anything else not for us to look and see who could help us out. Other than that delicious food!

For 4 pupusas and an ensalada drink, $15. The pupusas revueltas are the best. They have more than enough ingredients and are not greasy at all. Their pupusas come after my mom's. I love this place.

Stopped by for a quick bite. Ordered the pupusas revuelta and i will say they were very tasty. Some pupusas out there are very doughy but Menchitas were very very good. Plenty of cheese and great flavor. The restaurant is busy, clean and up beat music. The staff was very nice also..
